ability to set in radio setup a maximum power + recalibrate the slider to use the whole slide

Hi,

I am aware you can set a max power. I find this useful when running a ss amplifier that can only handle say 30 watts.

what would be great, is your slider could then become full scale at the max power you set, meaning it still travels on the ui from end to end. 30 watts for example would become the most right area on the slider, to allow fine control of your available power, and for advanced users, even a background multiplyer you could add so the wattage displayed would be the typical amp out at that setting, boy that would be fancy. slide up to say 700 watts, instead of a tiny little movement in the bottom.

same for tune power, having similar actions.

thanks, just throwing out ideas.

If the amp is an Elecraft KPA 500, you can use the FlexiCraft Utility to set and retain power by band, mode and amp status (op vs standby).

Search GitHub for FlexiCraft to find it. There is also a thread here on the Flex Community.
