Replacement encoder part number

This is a CTS 290-series rotary encoder. Since my encoder is physically broken I don't know how many detents per revolution. If someone can count this on their FlexControl I can order the correct encoder.

According to my notes (March 2017), the Encoder P/N is CTS 290VAA5F201B1, but not sure if there is a difference between the older and newer Flex Knob versions (they have different faceplate appearance). I would think that if there were any detents, you could feel them while turning the knob. I own both older and newer knob versions, and I don't feel any detents.

I agree with Dewey's part number.
I replaced mine in the last 6 months. The mouser part number is 774-290VAA5F201B1
