SSDR update

in SmartSDR for Windows

I cant get the window that shows the radio listed and the UPDATE button on the bottom. Im in 4.0.1 now, looking for the 4.1.5. or whatever is latest.

I did see it on Maestro and went to 4.1.3 (not sure but it had a 3 on the end) I did not jump 2 steps to the …5 there. then when I turned off Maestro and wanted to use the PC it forced me to downgrade back one. The SSDR on the PC, the radio screen bottom shows 4.0.1 and no update help anywhere. All the YT vids show that window I want where I went from 3.9… to the 4.0.1 The window for me shows DISCONNECT from the station.

I have SSDR+

there is no exact version info anywhere on the SSDR screen. Normally I would find that on one of the menuse like ABOUT or the HELP but no.

Let me know what Im missing.

    Hi Raul, start by upgrading everything to 4.1.5 (SmartSDR, Maestro, radio). Any time it asks you to downgrade, it means that you are running an older version on your computer or Maestro. Don't do the downgrade, stop and run the newer version on your computer or Maestro.

    Once you upgrade your computer, remove the old 4.0.1 and 4.1.3 icons from your desktop so that you don't accidentally run them.

    Flex does not do incremental updates, so you can move ahead to the newest version without installing the interim ones.

    Len, thank you for the reply. I had been deep into the Flex world a year ago then shut down a year for home construction. I forgot all those simple things.

    I upgraded fine to 4.1.5 home and work. I have a flex at each location so I can cross remote.

    Now just working on the Smartlink setup, I worte a message on discussion side. Mike pointed me to chapter Im going to read next.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
