Create a GNU Radio interface for FLEX-8400 using Linux

I am new to FLEX and am looking at creating a GNU Radio interface for a FLEX-8400 using Linux Ubuntu. It would NOT be a SmartSDR replacement, but rather an alternative method of creating a GUI and providing a gateway for digital data.
I welcome comments and suggestions.

Thanks for the info. That is interesting, but my focus is to allow GNU Radio access to the FLEX and let the user develop their own flowgraphs and GUIs. All of my work is Open Source and will continue to be so.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
