CTCSS Encode doesn't seem to be working on SmartSDR version 4.1.3 for local Repeaters

Radio is a 8600

Running a Transverter here on 2 Meters and I am not seeing that the CTCSS Tone encoder is working any longer, I know on version 3 it worked but haven't used it until today on version 4.

I am wondering if anyone else has seen this or if yours works?

I have disabled DAX just in case too.

The offset seems to be a little flakey to, first NO TX at all then if I set the offset to say .100 Mhz it worked and then switched back to .600 Mhz it then would TX +.600.

It didn't matter if I used a Flex Memory or a the Repeater Spots program the results where the same.

Thanks for any updates

Hi Bret, the issue that I have with FM (with or without a transverter) is that the offset direction always shows Simplex (regardless of what it actually is) until you manually change to plus or minus. After that, it accurately shows the offset direction, and it correctly follows FlexRepeaterSpots.

It behaves the same on my 6400 and 8600.

Thanks for the heads-up about the CTCSS tones not working. It is optional on most repeaters around here, but not all. Mine is clearly no longer working. I didn't notice because I haven't tried to access any of the repeaters that require a tone lately. I guess we need to submit help desk tickets.
