Does the Tuner Genius disable the keyline to the amp while tuning?

I am considering purchasing a Tuner Genius to use with an IC-7610 and ACOM 2000A amplifier. The MFJ-998 tuner I am using has a feature that bypasses the keyline to the amp while tuning. This means I can leave the Amp in the Operate position without worry that initiating a tune will also key the amp. Does the Tuner Genius operate in this fashion also?

According to the Tuner Genius manual, the tuner will not output PTT to the amp until the tuner is done tuning or changing tuning settings when moving frequency.

15.3.3.2 PTT OUT This RCA connector is provided to supply a Push-To-Talk signal to other devices. The center pin is grounded when PTT is asserted. Note that the Tuner Genius XL provides this signal after making any adjustments to the tuning solution when it receives PTT. This signal can therefore be used to synchronize RF generation so that the RF signal is never generated before the tuner is ready to receive it.

NOTE!!!!!!! We have not extensively tested with non-Flex exciters or amplifiers. I suggest you check with support@4O3A.com to confirm. Also, This is only while the tuner is making tune adjustments. The TG XL will NOT auto tune if SWR is above a certain point. You MUST do a manual tune by first applying a 25 watt steady carrier (RTTY MODE WORKS) and then press TUNE on TG XL or TG XL app. When you first key radio at 25 watt carrier, the tuner may not be tuned for best SWR and it would be keying the amp at that moment until you press tune on TG XL.

Also, if you use CI-V from radio to TG XL, it will allow 20 tuning memories per band where you can "train" the tuner so as you QSY, the tuner will use the closest tuning solution, not requiring a retune every time.
