DEXP button question

in SmartSDR for Windows

I want to make some changes to mike/SSB settings. DEXP button is blue but looks greyed out in the same time. DEXP slider is at about 70% position and can not be moved.

Any suggestions how to resolve this problem?

    I think that maybe your radio / SSDR is not in SSB mode. Check that first.

    Mode is set to USB, DAX switched off.

    I just discovered that this problem occurs only when PC is the mike input. With all other mike inputs DEXP works fine.

    I try to use a Blue Yogi USB mike, audio on an external receiver is very good, but I want to cut on amplifier fan noise.

    Possible SSDR bug??

    Section 24.5 of the SmartSDR User Guide indicates a sequence that involves setting the MIC input, including PC, and setting the DEXP level. Therefore it should work but, as you say, it does not. You might consider putting your findings into a Help Desk Ticket.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
