Can you operate WSJT X and Multiflex at the same time ?

Here a simple question? Va two users operate the FLEX 6400 in this capacity ? One operator running WSJT X and the other operating HF SSB (Phone) ?

Thank you

Both can receive at the same time on only one antenna(6400). Digital, SSB and CW can be active receiver slices at same time. You only have two slices I believe. When either one transmits all receive slices are muted.

When one transmits DAX TX is Blue but the other operators DAX TX is Greyed out. So the two have to work out a sharing arrangement. But the greyed out button on DAX must be turned blue with the button before he can transmit. FR Stack can help in both operators know what the other is doing.

As a side note if running split it takes two slices. But in a slice you can use the Offset button and dropdown to move your TX frequency. Using the Flex Control you can move the offset with the knob while looking for a hole.

This is what I have used but others that run club stations may have found other tricks and rules of sharing.

The radio only has one transmitter, so the two operators need to coordinate who will transmit when.

It can be done, but may be a challenge to not step on one another.
