Looking at the release notes it shows that only the 6600(M) and 6700 can use ESC for the 6xxx series of radios. Is this a type. I would think if a 6600(M) can run the feature a 6600 should be able to as well. Also please clarify the last sentence in the release notes. How is the metering affected?

Hi Mick, the parenthesis in "6600(M)" indicates that the 6600 as well as the 6600M are both covered.

Thanks. Do you have any information regarding the metering comment?

I think that means that the S Meter reading will be affected by nulling or peaking a signal using ESC.
