Aurora update

Mighty quiet on the new Aurora radios updates! We had started getting a monthly email with the latest news. And then, the information ( to a point) was shared in the Insider for that month.

Neither the special email or the Insider has shown up this month. A positive sign? I hope so! There's slightly over two months left for Q4 of 2025. ( predicted shipping time period)

Hopefully, it's not a sign that it will be longer than anticipated for actual shipping to start.

    Tick, tick, tick, the clock keeps ticking and still no news. I hope this isn't a bad sign. I might have to move my QMX+ qrp station over to the AU-520M's spot. After all, it uses Polar Modulation as well. At least I will have that part of the equation covered!

    Why does Flex not just have a link for people who have purchased the new AU radios that they update whenever progress is made, even just little things? Like the statues of the production of the various boards, the status of the mechanical components, testing and perfecting the circuit design, the regulatory process, and so on.

    I suspect their biggest challenge right now is getting the regulatory approval.

    I think that most likely providing a link with regular updates would take more time and maintenance than just providing an email like they started out doing. Maybe, not sending out an update email this month is an indication that everyone is busy getting ready for the rollout of the first wave of shipments and no one has spare time enough to compose an email and send it out. It's either that, or they have hit a snag somewhere and cannot take the time away from solving the problem to update everyone. Personally, I am hoping for the former rather than the latter.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
