Can I use a Mac and a Windows machine to access the Flex 8400?

I'm not looking to access the Flex at the same time, but I do use both Macs and Windows machines. I currently use the Mac version. I am worried about conflicting firmware being installed and things like that.

    I have both a Mac and a virtual Windows machine running SmartSDR and access my 8400 without any issues.
