New Subscription Service Model and SSDR for MacOS

I have read and don't have any major issues with the new subscription service model announced yesterday by Mike. But it appears to be directed to Flex's hardware and SSDR for Windows users, or at least there is no mention of us SSDR for MacOS users.

What impact, if any, will this new model have on the large Mac customer base? I am certain that this question will largely reside with Marcus and how well his work is integrated with new features etc being offered by Flex.

The quality of the software on the Mac continues to be outstanding, and I very rarely ever go back to SSDR for Windows.

I look forward to clarification on the ongoing relationship between Flex's new features, subscription model of support, and Marcus' continuing development of SSDR for MacOS.

I'm curious about this as well, the macplatform does make flexradio's software accessible for people who are totally blind. Smart SDR for windows where blind people are concerned is absolutely not accessible in windows, so as a blind person, this is how I use my radio. I hope that this does not change Marcus's development model.

SmartSDR for Mac has a much richer set of features that far exceeds that of the Windows version. The list of features in the SmartSDR for Mac version is too long to list here, but suffices to say it is more than impressive. And the quality is rock solid. This rather large feature set evolved and progressed over time without a charge to the customer. Think about that. Client features without paying a dime.
