SmartSDR CAT (v3.10.10.38187): An unhandled error has occurred while Scanning ALE with ION2G
Ion2g usually works fine, but occasionally if I leave it running for a while, I get the error shown below—often in multiple windows with the same message. Any ideas?

I have noted a similar abort of both my PC and Mac SmartSDR clients when I leave ion2G running overnight.
I was running Flex firmware 3.9.18
and version 0.9.8.4 of ion2G (the latest version is 0.9.8.5).@Flexed — what version of ion2G were you running with Flex firmware 3.10.10?
Thank you.

I would submit a help desk ticket if you haven't already.

@John WA7UAR I experienced the same issue on versions 3.9.19 and 3.10.10. The symptoms are identical when leaving it running for a long time—it seems like SmartSDR CAT runs out of resources. I even tried it on another laptop, thinking it was a system resource issue, but the same thing happened.
@KD0RC I considered it, but they’re usually quite busy. I’ll reach out if I can’t find anything locally. I prefer not to open a ticket for something simple that I might be able to resolve on my own, though it will remain my last resort.
