Sennheiser GSP 670 Bluetooth headset and Flex 8600

I plan to use this BT headset with my 8600. Can someone suggest how to link radio's audio and mike input to the wireless set?

Hi Tom… since no one else has chimed in, I'll take a stab. At this point, I don't think any of the Flex radios natively support Bluetooth devices on audio. (I'm not aware of ANY Bluetooth capability anywhere, actually).

So, I think one option is to possibly find a powered adapter that can take the audio output from the Flex (headphone and mic jacks) and broadcast it out on BT. My initial search of Amazon found lots of ones that will broadcast out for listening on headphones. Perhaps there are units built for gamers that will also receive mic input from the headphones and pump that out a separate cable you could plug into the external mic input.

Another option that might work would be to see if you can pair the BT headphones with your PC, then use the PC audio option in SmartSDR to route audio to the headset. I tried this years ago with no success, but later versions of SmartSDR may have enabled this.
