Breakin

My buddy is running SmartSDR 3.9.19 on a 6400 (no maestro) and I was showing him the CWX function via AnyDesk and his break-in does not appear to work. I had him go into CWX mode in CW mode and radio transmits CW with break-in on or off. I was trying to show him he could transmit CW without actually putting out a TX signal like I can (I'm running 3.10.10) but break-in off does not have the desired affect. What could be wrong?

Hi, this is a known issue with SmartSDR. Breakin controls the input from the key jack and the ACC jack pin 4 on the back of the radio. It does not have any effect on CW generated in CWX.

To practice CW using CWX, you need to turn the RF Power down to zero. Not ideal, but it works.

Not sure what the last question was (overactive bad-word thing got it), but all Flex radios running SmartSDR have this issue.
