Flex 8400M and Icom 7300 connectivity to TGXL (both routed to Antenna A)

When connecting/configuring both your Flex 8400M and an Icom 7300 to the TGXL, is it possible for both to be configured for TX A (Flex - use LAN?) and TX B (Icom) and both use the same Antenna A? Looking for a statement on how this scenario connects. Looking to buy full Flex ecosystem soon. Many Thanks -

I assume you are using the SO2R version tuner?
If so, you would need to add the Antenna Genius 2x8 antenna switch if you want automatic operation.

You could use a manual A/B antenna switch after the tuner but you would have to remember to switch between the A or B side of the TG XL.

The first option allows using up to 8 antennas and expandable to 32 antennas.

If you only have one antenna then the manual A/B switch is more cost effective.

David, Thank you for your comments. I appreciate it. I am assembling the full ecosystem. The Antenna Genius is on the list!

I have the full system and have used it with a Flex and tested other transceivers on the B side. You’ll love it when you get it complete.
I handle presale product support and Genius integration questions from our customers.
