RX tab changes slice

I run one slice (B) in DIGIU and Slice (A) in USB, both are on the same frequency. Voice is for check-ins/radio checks and the Digital is for the digital message.
The problem is in the RX tab if I change the DIGIU drop down box to USB it changes Slice B which I do not want since I already have Slice A.

where are you changing the mode?
At top of slice flag or on right side?

If you are changing it on the right side, the controls are for the active slice and not TX slice. The active slice is indicated by the yellow vertical line on the side of the slice RX bandwidth.

To toggle between slice A and B for TX, you can tap the TX box in the flag at top of slice you want to use. You can also set up CAT with a com port for slice B so the digital program would use B for digital programs to control TX. Also some programs allow you to have the program use digital mode. For instance in WSJT-X under radio tab if you set mode to Data/Pkt it will use DIGIU for that mode.

You would still need to manually switch TX back to slice A after a digital transmission.

One way I do it is to use SmartSDR for digital mode and Maestro for voice modes using MultiFlex.

changing on the right side (the RX tab, drop down box)

This behavior did not happen in previous versions, I want to be able to adjust the AF for DIGIU to a low volume and AF for USB to a listening volume.

This happens with just the SmartSDR running, all other programs are not yet started.

You can use the speaker icon on each slice flag to open the volume adjustment for each slice. Just turn down the RX volume for the digital slice.

If you use the panel on the right, you need to make sure the correct slice is active (it should show either A or B). Doing it from the individual slice like I described ensures you are adjusting the correct one.
