SmartSDR DAX selection using a foot switch and N1MM+ for F1 key recorded CQ's for contests
Gents— question for all.
My foot switch is set up correctly and works perfectly as described in the SmartSDR for MAC APP manual and it's turned on (under tools >CW Keyer settings using phone mode (SSB). DAX is OFF as required. My MIC is attached to the computer (M2 MacMini) via a FOCUSRITE Scarlett 2i2 4th generation. Again, all operates exceptionally well.
The problem I have is as follows.
I'm using N1MM+ along with a Flex 6700 remotely and of course and SmartSDR for Mac with the latest version. I have programmed wav files for CQ into N1MM+. In order to use N1MM+ to transmit my voice CQ automatically from the .wav file, I have to switch DAX to ON in SmartSDR. Then when I want to use the foot switch, I have to return to the normal method of operation by turning DAX off on SmartSDR.
Anyone else experienced this or have a solution.
thanks and 73

In N1MM under Logger+ audio set-up, on the Playback tab, make sure you have the Internal radio codec box checked. If you don't, check it and try again.
