DAX drivers and Windows 11 memory security

It's been almost a year since I've been able to play radio. Just a bunch of life got in the way.

Anyway, My office computer decides it wants to upgrade and it's complaining that it can't upgrade certain security features because of incompatible files. Turns out it's the DAX system drivers.

Now the SmartSDR version, I have on my office computer, is v3.7.4 (I told you it's been awhile). I know there have been many upgrades, with the new Maestro and the new radios. But has this issue been addressed? Do we still have to disable the memory security features in Windows 11 for DAX to work?

If I uninstall v 3.7.4 and get my Windows upgraded, can I install the latest version of SmartSDR without having to disable the security features again? To be honest, in our current times of cyber crimes and hacking, and considering what I do with this computer, I'm not sure that's safe.

You still need to have Core Isolation disabled. You do not need to uninstall old versions of SmartSDR, you can just install the latest.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
