Same band on both ports
This coming field day I am the 40 meter band captain at the radio club of Tacoma. Will have a 6400M for radio and two 40 meter antenna's. One will be mostly flat at about 40 feet and the other will be NVIS so we can work close and far. Is it safe to have one on port A and one on port B? should be able to have some physical space between but am worried about damage to radio.

We have a worksheet that looks kind of like a tax form on our website that will help you figure out whether you need to worry about this: Link to worksheet

That should work fine. I have close antennas at my home QTH running 500 watts without issue. I have never seen the ADC overload message.

Thank you for the reply and work sheet. Have printed it out and will use at Radio Club of Tacoma to check for any possible issues. Field Day was a great success and if you want to see how we did things check out the club newsletter from W7DK website for from link to Bark newsletter from QRZ
