I have a Flex 6300 without the ATU . Includes a FM-2 hand mic and power cable. I am including a LDG AT 100 Pro and a cross needle wattmeter. Also various Mic cables ( XLR and Headset adapter ) $1000 or will consider trade for a Working B model Maestro. I have a 6400 and the 6300 is surplus to me needs.

Steven: I could very well be interested in the Flex 6300. I know the 6400 can be used for remote pretty easy but can the 6300 be as easy? How does the radio work on CW, RTTY, and FT8?

They work the same. It's an all mode radio. SmartSDR works the same. I've only used it for Phone and digital modes.0

From my foggy memory the 6300 does 2 slices and the 6400 does 4.0

The 6300 and 6400 are both one SCU, two slice radios. The 6400 has 3rd order bandpass filters and the 6300 does not. The same SmartSDR versions work the same on both radios. There may be some minor differences, but except for the filtering, they operate the same.
Unless there are multiple radios in close proximity, the bandpass filters aren't that important.
