DAX and Profiles
OK, so I'm a bit confused.
I have set up a Transmit Profiles for SSB and FT8. And I have Global Profiles, 20M SSB (DAX off) and 20M FT8 (DAX on), for example.
With the 20M FT8 Global profile selected, using the FT8 Transmit Profile, DAX is on. Now when I select the 20M SSB profile, using the SSB Transmit Profile, DAX is still on.
The inverse is also true.
What am I missing?
Thanks.

Hi Geoff, The mic profile follows the mode as part of persistence. For digital operations I set up a mic profile that has DAX turned on and I select it when I have DIGU or DIGL selected. The next time I change modes to DIGU, I get my digital mic profile. When I switch back to USB or LSB, I get the mic profile I was using there.

Thanks Len…I wasn't comprehending the link between persistence and the profiles. It crossed my mind the I might be able to use mic profiles but it never really clicked and I didn't follow through with testing.
I apreciate your help!
