SmartSDR Doesn't Load

New laptop. I download SmartSDR 3.8.23. I click on the downloader and it asks me if I want to allow changed. Yes. It then opens the License Agreement and I accept. It asks for file location and I use what it suggests, hit next. Select components and go with default selections and hit next. Create desktop shortcut, yes. Ready to install popup and hit Install. The Installing screen opens for a few seconds then closes and nothing else happens. I have allowed 3rd party apps.

Any suggestions?

    I would suggest you open a Help Desk ticket to get the Flex gurus to give you a hand. They are excellent at working through the various vagaries of Windows installations.

    One thing to look at tho, is whether Core isolation is turned on (Under Settings/Privacy & security/Device security. It should be turned off. If it's turned on, SmartSDR and some of the drivers (most notably the DAX drivers) will not install correctly.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
