    New 8600

    Just got my 8600 today and had no issues with 1st boot startup. I timed the boot time and it was 34 seconds. I notice that the fan does run faster than the 6600 fan. My 6600 after initial startup will spin at about 808 rpm, while the 8600 runs at about 1128 rpm.

    I need to adjust the color code on the fan speed to reflect the 8600's different rpm.

    I could hear the fan when it spun up over 1300 rpm, but once it settled down I don't hear it. My pc is considerably louder.

    One thing I did notice is that I have no dropped packets while the 6600 would exhibit about 10 dropped packets on startup.

    Next is to get the gps antenna hooked up. So far I am pleased with what I see.

    Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
