Maestro setup with Smart SDR and Flex 8400.

Member ✭✭

Greetings Flex Radio Community.

I am waiting for my Flex 8400 to arrive hopefully soon. Cant wait HI Hi.

I have a Maestro that I have been using with my Flex 6500 for years running Smart SDR with no isssues. The Flex Maestro plays a major part of my amateur radio station.

Im totallly involved in HF digital modes . The 8400 with its new and updated technical specifications is perfect for my continued digital mode operations.

And so was the flex 6500.

I am trading in my flex 6500 towards a Flex 8400 with ATU and with an intergrated digital display. I cannot wait to receive the new flex 8400 from Flex Radio.

My question: Is there any major differences setting up the Meastro with my New Flex 8400 running smart SDR.? Then setting it up for the flex 6500? (that is now in the evaluation process for trade in of the 8400 with ATU and digital display)

Thankyou very much and best of 73's to all in the Flex Radio Community.

Respectfully and best of 73's again to all..

Well, no need to keep your Maestro near your radio when you get your 8400M. I use mine by my easy chair and then bedside, relying on battery power.
