SSDR No Spectrum or Waterfall

I shut down my Windows 11 machine to change a few things around. After I fired up, SSDR had no Spectrum or waterfall. Everything else works. Receive is ok. Can change bands, frequencies. etc, But no spectrum or waterfall. I uninstalled and reinstalled 3.8.23. Cold booted the 6600. Windows 10 and Mac are ok. Any ideas? Sound like something got corrupted in Win 11.

Hi John, if you haven't yet, try a factory reset (after exporting your profiles). If that does not help, check your firewall settings to see if you are blocking UDP packets.

I don't think it's a Flex radio problem, since it works fine on my Windows 10 PC and Mac. But, who knows maybe a factory reset would work. As far as I can tell firewall looks ok.

If you don't figure it out soon, submit a help desk ticket. Flex Support will have seen this before.

I've had some suggestions but no go. I'll wait another day but help desk is next.

Here is what it looks like-no waveforms or waterfall
signals, yet I can hear them in the audio so the receiver is working.

It is now working. Turned out to be something to do with Tail Scale VPN. I think I installed Tail Scale about the same time the problem occurred. I now have turned off Tail Scale on this machine and all is good. I'll figure out the Tail Scale problem later.

I’m just curious. How are/were tailscale being used?

With TailScale you can set one machine(my Windows 10 machine) on your network as a subnet router. So from the outside you connect to something that you cannot install TailScale on such as my IC-7610. Flex riadios do not support TailScale. My theory is, even though my Windows 11 machine is on the network, it is trying to connect to my Flex through the subnet router. Once I turn off TailScale on my Win 11 machine, it will connect direct.

Hi John. You should be able to go into Tailscale on your Windows machine, go to preferences and disable use Tailscale subnets. As long as you do not need that setting you should be good to go to leave Tailscale running again.0

I use TailScale with the subnet router enabled and I can access my 6600 without a problem. However, if I enable an Exit Node on TailScale then the waveforms & waterfall disappear as shown above.

No exit nodes enabled on my network.
