Will a Maestro C work together with SSDR for Mac & MLDX?

Member ✭✭

Hi to all,

My ‘problem’ is: the Flex-6400 (connected via Ethernet to my LAN) is in a different room from where my shack is located. So now 'm controlling the Flex-6400 from my shack via SSDR for Mac (MacBook connected to LAN via WiFi). So far, so good! I'm not allowed to drill holes in walls, so I cannot draw cables from my shack to my Flex-6400. Since I want to operate in CW, I cannot connect my key/paddle via a cable to my Flex-6400. One of the possibilities to operate CW (other than CWX in the App) with a key/paddle is to use a Maestro (connected via WiFi) to which I can connect a paddle. This way I can send CW without latency (?) and also will have a side tone in the shack.

I still want to use the SSDR App to operate the radio and logging, but using the Maestro for sending CW (and using the VFO dialknob). I’m not sure if this will work with SSDR for Mac…. Does anyone experience with this setup?

Thanks, Dirk HB9GPN
