TGXL display of PWR & SWR

Member ✭✭
After a transmission the numeric values of PWR & SWR instantly go away once the transmission stops. It would be nice if these values remain on screen until:

1. The user initiates another transmission at the same frequency / mode (the then current values would be displayed).
2. The user changes frequencies on the same band (the amount of freq. change needed would be TBD by Flex engineering). Then no values would be displayed - blank.
3. The user changes bands (no values would then be displayed - blank).
4. The user changes mode on the same band (no values would then be displayed - blank).

I am often busy with other tasks. For example monitoring other equipment, logging QSO, copying CW, etc. and don't have an opportunity to observe these values until long after they are gone.

I would be most interested in other users of the TGXL as to their opinion of the merits of this suggestion.

I have an addition to my suggestion for the display of PWR & SWR on the TGXL. How about a slider - at on end the display of PWR & SWR works exactly as it does now. At the other end of the slider PWR & SWR remains displayed until one of the events I outlined in my initial post occurs. In between is a variable amount of time these numbers are displayed based on user preference.

I would be most curious to hear what other users of the PGXL think of this idea.
