DAX Driver Error after Windows 11 Update

Member ✭✭
edited February 25 in SmartSDR for Windows

I'm getting the following error after a WIndows 11 update.

I've done a search on how to fix this. I've ensured that the microphone is allowed to access DAX and it appears that ALLOW is selected for DAX, however, I still get the error.

Ideas on how to resolve?

Hi Rich, This is probably a Win 11 Core Isolation setting issue. I think that if you turn off Core Isolation in Win 11, it will fix your problem. I don't have a Win 11 machine, so I can't tell you how to do this, but I am sure the solution is out on the web somewhere.

    Len,

Thanks for the idea. I just checked the core isolation option and its off.

Ah, OK, then I would submit a help desk ticket.

Under Device Security-Core isolation-Memory Integrity is off, correct?

    N1JM, yes its off.

I placed a help ticket yesterday. I'm sure this will be chalked up to 'Windows strikes again'

As usual the help desk took care of business.

I had to un-install and re-install the DAX drivers.

Please note that if this happens to your setup, you need to contact the help desk first before going through this procedure as there may be a different fix.
