In some bands while transmitting QRO network signal strength drops from Excellent full scale to Amber or red and sometimes SSDR shutdown?!

You have rf in the shack. I have gone to cat 6 cables, assuring that my gear is well grounded together and then tied to a very good outside ground point. I also have snapon type31 ferrites at each network cable end. At my switch and radio.

Here is an option to consider to eliminate both RF and surges related to nearby lightning strikes. I’ve used this setup on both my 6700 in the past and now my 6600. This setup isolates the network cables with a fiber link and eliminates the long copper network cables from acting like antennas conveying RF or surges into the radio.
