Can a click on a MacSSDR panadapter spot initiate tune & lookup in MacLoggerDX?
With my (now sold) SunSDR2dx, when I clicked on a panadapter spot, it would initiate a tune and spot lookup in MacLoggerDX. Now that I'm on the Flex and MacSSDR this no longer happens.
Is this something that's possible with MacSSDR and MacLoggerDX today, or should I ping Marcus for a feature request?

Well, Marcus replied he isn't interested in sending click panadapter spot info outside his app.

Hi Bill, I would suspect that it is a feature of MacLogger DX. It looks like FLex 6000 and 8000 radios are supported (as is Sun SDR). Check the options in MacLogger to see if you can get the same results as with your Sun.
Generally speaking, apps interact with the radio (actually a server) and not with the client software like SmartSDR. Spot triggers are available from Flex radios, so this functionality is a possibility if MacLogger has it implemented.

I just found this in the MacLogger documentation:
If you chose FlexRadio SmartSDR, the Radio and MacLoggerDX must be on the same Local Area Network subnet i.e. 192.168.2.x.
Choose the radio in the Port and Radio popups. If your radio is multiFLEX capable (v3.0+) you should bind to a multiFLEX GUI client (SmartSDR, Maestro, dogparkSDR etc.) by selecting it in the popup beneath the Port Type popup once the radio is connected so that MacLoggerDX can tell which slices you want it to access. For remote Flex radios, use the dogparkSDR Tune MLDX setting and MacLoggerDX will log the frequency and mode sent to it by dogparkSDR.

Thanks Len, but no joy. I double checked all the settings in MLDX, radio UDP/TCP ports, and MacSSDR, and played around with enabling/disabling MultiFlex, and nothing worked.
I even tried downloading dogparkSDR, which claims to do what I want, but I couldn't even get it to display ANY spots in the panadapter. So, at the very least this is doable.
It would appear this is a feature request for MacSSDR.

Hi Bill, did you do the step where it wants you to do the bind to MacSSDR? If that is not it , then you are right, it is probably a feature upgrade.
