New Stream Deck user, can't make a "Tune" button work

Hello all,

Happy New Year! I was gifted a Stream Deck Mini for Christmas and I have been happily exploring the various things I can control via FRStacks3. So far it has gone fairly well, except for one thing that I thought would be simple.

I would like to have a "Tune" button that does exactly what pressing the SSDR tune button with my mouse, would do. I have programmed this:

http://127.0.0.1:13522/api/Radio/TUNE [?param=2]

and the button helpfully shows "OFF", but pressing it doesn't toggle it on. The display on the button changes if I use the SSDR button to turn it on/off. I also am unable to make it work if I use the Tune on the Stacks3 menu bar.

I was able to program buttons to increment and decrement the tuning power settings, but clearly I have missed something here. The rig is a 6400 running v3.8.19 FRStacks is version 3.8.12.78

Any help would be much appreciated!

It works for me, but I have the "param" setting = 1 to start the tune cycle, and 0 to end it.

It works for me with the toggle [param=2] settings.

Ahhh … thanks for the response K0CN and N5NHJ!

There is nothing like asking for help to get things to suddenly work. I now have it working both as a Toggle and as a REST call, despite the fact that I could not get either to work after multiple trys. The difference as near as I can tell, was that I closed the Stream Deck app, and then re-opened it. I saw something similar when I first started a couple of days ago. Should have done it sooner! I also had the Lorby editor open, and I don't know if that impacts things or not.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
