unwanted 2nd audio channel program

in FLEX-6000 Signature Series
I've a awr of powered speakers connected to the ⅛" jack on the back of the 6600M. Having the AF level to 0 instill hear program through speakers. I know it's there as when I power off the speakers or turn down the audio amp power it goes away. Any ideas as to turning it off.

    But that mutes the entire program. I just want to mute this extraneous noise. It sounds like it's bleedover from another frequency but I cant pinpoint it. There are no other slices active except for A.

    Can you identify the content or program material? Is it possible that it is not coming from the Flex but perhaps from an external source?

    It's high pitched white noise. It's coming from the rig. If I turn off the speakers, gone. No external sources nearby to cause this. Here's video https://youtu.be/pJwM7zCqpKQ

    Hi Bruce, you have MultiFlex engaged, which means that you have SmartSDR running on a computer (or a second Maestro connected). You are hearing the slice that is running on SmartSDR or the other Maestro.

    Hi Bruce, I just re-watched your video. It looks like you are operating a Maestro. If you have a 6600M, then the front panel is what is giving you the unexpected audio.

    Can you confirm that you have an M model radio (i.e. has a front panel) and that you also have a separate Maestro?

    If this is the case, close the slice on the front panel (or mute it) and the extra audio will disappear.

    Exactly the issue. Yes, it's an "M". I just shut off the "A" slice and that extra channel noise is gone. THANK YOU!!

    Glad to help! Another thing that you can do is to put the front panel into SmartControl mode (see section 9 of the Maestro manual). Then you will have control of the same slices with both the front panel and the Maestro.

    If the front panel and the Maestro are both open normally, each is treated as a separate, independent station controlling the radio (hence the MultiFlex indicator). This means that Slice A on the front panel is a different Slice A than is shown on the Maestro. If the front panel is put into SmartControl mode, then it follows whatever is happening on the Maestro. You will be able to change the same slice using either control source. It will be more obvious how it works if you give it a try. It is easier to do than to explain!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
