N3FJP log/cluster
I encountered an issue when I clicked on the spot in my N3FJP dx cluster. It immediately sent me to the correct frequency and mode, which was 10 meters CW. Well, I noticed that my amplifier wasn't keying up. I was on 10-meter SSB when I switched over, and it was keying up there. I started to investigate and found out this.
When you switch over from the log, it doesn't set your filters and such, which I already knew. What I didn't know was that it also doesn't set the TX band settings. Has anyone else run into this and have a fix for it?
Thanks and 73,
Bob

Hi Bob, yes. When I want to go to a spotted station, I use my profile for that band and mode and then click the spot in ACLog. I have been doing it that way for so long that it is just a habit that I engage automatically.

Well, that's one way to do it, although an extra step. But, better than nothing. I sent an email to Scott (N3FJP) to see what he has to say.
Thanks for the idea.

Hi Bob, I think that the issue is that N3FJP sends the frequency to the Flex without sending a band change first.

I received an email from Scott, N3FJP, who said that when you come over from a spot, whatever you change will stay that way for the next time you do it.
