Logbook Sync

If I enable iCloud on both my MacBook Pro and iPad for the the logbook, should the two logbooks sync? The reason I'm asking is because they don't seem to.

make sure in setting for 'logbook' tool that you have selected 'use icloud' and not local file on all the devices

then you will see it on any device that has been setup that way

Yes, I have that set on both the iPad and Mac, and when I go to my iCloud Drive I can see the file there. But it seems only the Mac uses it. I can make a log entry in the iPad and it doesn't appear in the Mac. Or make a log entry in the Mac and it doesn't appear in the iPad. When I make a log entry on the Mac I can see the file update time on my iCloud drive. When I make a log entry in the iPad that iCloud file does not update. So I think the problem is with the iPad.

Ah, thanks! Yes, it was connected to iCloud drive, but under apps syncing to iCloud the box next to SmartSDR was not checked. A bunch of other apps were checked but that one was skipped over for some reason. Not even sure how I missed that before, but I checked the box and it instantly worked.
