SmartSDR for Mac, new Apple Mac mini, M4, inop ...

Greetings from Oregon. Like so many others, I received the new Apple Mac mini with the new M4 chip yesterday and this morning I have tried to install all the software and integrate the new computer into the shack. No luck. I use identical settings and ethernet connection on my Apple Mac Air M2 and it works fine. Also works on my older M1 Mac mini.

Curious to see if I am blazing the trail for new M4 owners. If someone has been successful, that will assist me in continuing on with troubleshooting but as of now, I am of the mind that the new M4 chip is presenting some incompatibilities with version 2.9.42

Update: I can connect remotely so the connection to the network is established, but I cannot get the radio Discovered and listed on the M4 Mac mini as available. I am able to Discover and list the radio on my M1, M2, and Intel Xenon iMac all running Sequoia 15.1

I have submitted a query to Marcus, the developer of SmartSDR for Mac.

Thank you for your suggestions. Actually, you hit the nail on the head as they say. Marcus had emailed that as a last resort, we had tried everything, that I go to the setting you suggested and make sure SmartSDR was enabled for local networks. It was not … but after enabling it works perfectly. Hopefully this thread will be of value to others with Sequoia 15.1 and the new Mac M4 mini. Awesome performance in such a small package. Thank you.
