MRP40 (CW Decoder) with the FLEX 6400

How can I use MRP40 (CW Decoder) with the FLEX 6400. Is MRP40 working with the FLEX 6400 and is there a guide for installation ?

    MRP40 does not work well with Flex 6400. Below you can see a comparison between it and the decoder in SDC.

    MRP40 was not written to interface with SDR. It is also costly at nearly 60 Euros whereas SDC is only a $10 dollar donation and that gives you a full Flex API interface with much more than a decoder: CW Skimmer, RTTY Skimmer, Panorama and AGC-T automatic control, Contest module and so on.

    By all means try MRP40 for yourself of course. Simply download, install and open Options>View>Soundcard and select your DAX audio stream.

    I was told by many hams that MRP40 is the best for CW but was very disappointed when I asked Norbert about installation with Flex and got the answer " Der Flex 6400 wird sicherlich einen Audio Ausgang haben den man an an einen Computer mit MRP40 anschließen kann. Zum Senden gibt es entsprechende Hardware / Sw Interfaces Siehe MRP40 Webseite und User Manual. "
    I found that it's better to ask here and are happy you gave me the advice to use SDC. I will try that for sure !

    Hi Erik,

    is SDC only working after registration ? I've installed it but the setup is not working
    as in the video.

    hi Rainer,

    Registration of the program is not a prerequisite for its use.
    After registration, you will have the following opportunities:
    - You can use SKM Server together with Flex radios.
    - You will get the opportunity to connect through the SmartSDR-API protocols
    - Access to the Contest module will be open.
    Support the project on the SDC website with any amount available to you (normally $10). In the payment note, be sure to include your callsign and e-mail address to which you will receive the registration key!

    Yuri already answered and I learned that he is living near some very good friends of mine. I have been in Kharkiv in 2002 and met some very nice people there.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
