    FHM-3/2 Microphone PTT failure

    The PTT micro-switch on the FHM-3 or FHM-2 can fail over time. I found replacement switches, of all places, on Amazon.com. It requires removing 3 screws on the mic case and 3 screws on the PC board. You also need solder and un-soldering equipment.

      The FHM-3 Mic PTT switch SUCKS!!!! It will not even keep my 6400 keyed up
