Need technical support from FlexRadio? It's as simple as Creating a HelpDesk ticket.
What is the most stable ver of SmartSDR coming from 2.4.1
Looking at v2.10.1, does it require the purchase of a new license? Is it stable? Running Windows 10, Flex 6600.
Thanks Rob - AK7RM

Your radio is licensed for v2 software. So, you should be able to install v2.10.1 without any problems. You will only need to purchase a new license if you decide to upgrade to v3 for MultiFlex. Otherwise, you are good to go.
Be sure to follow the update instructions.

Hi Rob, I would recommend moving up to 2.10.1. Flex fixed some SD card issues and the SmartLink server issue as well as other things that make it worth upgrading.

Not just worth upgrading, it is madatory as all older version will make trouble to the whole community battering the servers with requests failing. See the releas notes here on the forum and other places.

It is only mandatory to use SmartLink. Otherwise, it will have no effect on the SmartLink Authentication servers. The release notes are aimed at SmartLink users. So, if you don't use SmartLink for remote operation, then the new updates are not mandatory. And you can continue to use your current version without any problems.
