SmartControl Audio Device Issue with SmartSDR

Options

For some reason now when I put the radio in Smartcontrol and bring up SmartSDR I am getting an error message the default PC audio input device has changed to an invalid device for Remote TX Audio. My front screen on my 6400M is not giving me any information. Yet, if I run the radio not in smartcontrol there are no issues. I have never experienced this before. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I got it fixed. I rebooted the radio back to the original standards and now everything is working.

Check your PC what the default recording device is set to. Try setting it to the internal sound card in the PC. You may need to have a mic plugged into the PC.

    Ok,

If I go into the sound settings within Windows 11 and find the playback and record sections. Would I change the Playback to Dax Receive 1 and the Windows Record to Dax TX?

It was just a thought that I had.

No, in Windows set them to the sound card in the PC. For example, Realtek Audio. You may not be able to select the recording device to PC sound card unless a mic is plugged in the PC.
