Noisefloor Flex 6400M

Hi all
I have a Flex 6400M that is just a couple of months old, and I just started using it with my new antenna. After a couple of weeks I was starting to suspect that the noise level was to high. On 17m I have a 4-5 s-units noise floor, right now S4 (appx -118 db). The thing is, even without an antenna connected, I have this level, -120 db to be precise, still say S4 on the meter.
Question: Is this normal?
I have switched of all circuits in the house, run the rig on battery, same story.
No antenna.... 4 s-units, hmmm.
Any comments?

Hi Tom, take a look at this video. Mike and Tim do a great job of explaining. Bottom line - your radio is behaving normally.
