    Trying to install SmartSdr 3.5.8. but my flex 6600/m Keeps looking for a maestro on install. Don't have a maestro. Do I need one to install 3.5.8 software.Installs fb on my computer.

      Hi Don, When the software references the Maestro, that includes the front panel of an M model Flex like yours. Were you able to upgrade the radio and the front panel, or are you having difficulties?

      Hello Len,

      It wont't upgrade the software on the 6600/m. Keeps looking for a Maestro. Gives a try again message and shuts down. Got rid of my maestro years ago.

      Hi Don, there is apparently a problem with some M model upgrades. Submit a help desk ticket, and Flex Support will let you know what to do next.
