How do I get Writelog to send CW with Flex 6400

Hi- I would appreciate any help. I have not been able to get Writelog to send CW with my Flex 6400. I have Writelog and Flex on the same computer. It could really be any contest logging program: Writelog, N1MM+, Wintest, etc. I would be most helped by an EXACT list of which settings I should use on the Flex and Writelog. Don't assume that I know anything at all about Windows. Thanks! K2YY

If I remember correctly, you will have to create a CAT port in SmartSDR CAT for the WinKey emulator. Instructions for this are in the SmartSDR and/or SmartSDR CAT User Guides. The COM port that is created should be referenced in the WriteLog setup screen as the WinKeyer port. The WriteLog help files can guide you on how to do that.

I must warn you that I don't know this from experience, as I have a hardware WinKey USB that I use with WriteLog and N1MM+ for CW, but once you have the CAT port created, it should be the same procedure.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
