Stack3 and Spot use for a 6600M

Hi I have been testing Stack3 for my 6600M and I need help on exaclty how to set up, select and configure SPOTS.
I have selected the Spots Option menu ,can you help me with the exact fill in the box selections? What and how do you select the URL I have looked at the find spots source and have used http://k2can.us:8088 http://hb9on.org:8000 and telnet://hrd.wa9pie.net:8000. What goes into the SSID field? Do you have any working examples? or where do I find the detailed instructioins.
None of these are producing any spots on a panadapter.

    Not saying this is your problem but people come to me with "no Spots on Pan from SDC" or same issue with Swisslog (or another Flex client) - are Spots turned on in SmartSDR?

    yes spots are turned on and I have filled in servers with no results being displayed. I would like to know how or where to find out how to fill in the blanks on the input window? SSID? correct format of spot server command line ect.

    OK so refer to the FRStack on board help file. It states:

    You can configure up to 4 telnet spot sources to display on the radio's panadapter. The configuration is located in the View - Options Dialog - Spot tab. You must configure your Callsign and at least 1 spot source. You configure a spot source by its IP or DNS name, a colon, port number. eg. "dxc.wa9pie.net:8000". The checkbox before the spot name enables that source. The SSID allows you to assign a callsign suffix number.

    • Ignore WSJT-X checkbox will not display a spot when its comments contain "FT & JT" modes.
    • Init Command allows you to adjust the "sh/dx/30" command.
    • Ignore CW/DIG checkbox will not display a spot when its mode is CW or DIGITAL.
    • FRStack handles spot trigger option enables FRStack handling of spot triggers which sets frequency and mode.
    • Slice targeting allows FRStack to select active, first for last slice in the panadaptor when triggered.

    So, I guess you may have done this. The problem might be that your chosen spot sources are out of date. Try ve7cc.net on port 23. Or maybe you overlooked that 'http' or 'telnet' is not required.

    Smart SDR shows that spots are enabled. I still get no spots unless I have the formatting wrong?

    From the message above:

    Lose the http:// in lines 2,3 and 4.

    I did that and I think it is now working. I am running it and will check on it later today.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
