Flex 6400 - mic switching

n9un
n9un Member, Unconfirmed
I am new to Flex, I won a Flex 6400 from the Flex booth at Dayton this year, and just received it a week or so ago. I don't mind the hand mic, but would like to be able to easily switch to my Heil Proset elite. I have read that a a/b switch like the one in the link below will work, does anyone have any experience with this or an a/b switch in general?

It should work for the headset, but does your headset include a microphone? In which case it won't work.

Remember that with A/B switches, the single headphone is connected to one or the other sources. When you have the headset connected to radio A, then radio B is not connected and you can't hear anything.

Sometimes pulling the plug is the easiest way.

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
