SDR crashes when I PTT on my microphone

in SmartSDR for Mac
I am a new ham. Was gifted this sweet Flex 6400. Problem is whenever I key the microphone the software crashes. Any ideas ? 73

    Hi Edwin, try keying at very low power (1 watt) into a dummy load and see if you still have the issue. I suspect RF getting in to your computer.

    If you still have the issue at 1 watt, then there is something else going on and you should submit a help desk ticket.

    How do you have the mic and PTT connected to the 6400?
