Why login to SmartSDR, DAX, CAT separately?

in SmartSDR for Windows
They all use the same username and password combo, so why am I forced to separately type the same information into all three? Seems like unnecessary extra steps. I've done a bit of searching through the community site and haven't seen anyone else ask this, so it makes me think I'm doing something wrong.

    I frequently run DAX on a separate computer from the one I run SmarftSDR on.

    WSJT & DAX on a laptop while an iPad runs SmartSDR, for example.

    On the sign-on box for SmartSDR & DAX, under settings you can set "Auto connect to last radio", if that helps.

    I don't use CAT any more. My logging and other programs use TCP/IP instead of serial.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
