You need to make sure Log4OM communicator is turned on.  Also, make sure that the COM port that you selected in OmniRig appears in CAT.

I have been using Log4OM with my 6300 for years - I love it.

Steve nailed it - and in Omnirig be sure to select SmartSDR as your rig in Omnirig.  I've used it on my 6500 and now my 6600.  Some things won't work well, like jumping on digital spots since there is no way to distinguish one from another, but otherwise it seems to work pretty well.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
