FLEX-5000 MultiRx Secondary Receiver Control Question

Is there a way to have the secondary receive (i.e. 'MultiRx') settings of Rx1 different than that of the primary receiver settings of Rx 1 in the FLEX-5000 radio ?
My understanding (and so far the existing documentation appears to provide very little detail on how the MultiRx feature works or how it might be useful) is that Rx 1 of the FLEX-5000 radio can have a second swath of spectra demodulated so long as it falls within the 192 kHz (assuming that's how the FLEX-5000 radio is configured) baseband in which the primary receive swath is centered.
What I'm trying to figure out is can the secondary receive function have different filter bandwidths and a different demodulator configuration compared to those settings of the primary receive function of Rx 1 ? (I suspect not but figured it's worth asking.)
If there's a way to accomplish this then my thought is to set the primary receive function to lower sideband and the secondary receive function to upper sideband, then sync the primary and secondary receiver's frequencies together (centered on the same carrier frequency), and in this way implement the spatial-acoustic characteristic provided by binaural reception as it was implemented in the QST & ham radio magazine articles of years past (looking at this description I believe that each receiver, independently, with their baseband outputs not summed, would provide independent sideband (ISB) reception where, for any suppressed carrier frequency, both the lower & upper sidebands would be simultaneously available).

The ISB RX/TX ability would be a great addition to available modes as many newer digital modes are in fact using ISB to get the higher through put on HF. I have not seen many posts asking for this yet unfortunately and therefore do not see Flex adding any time soon.
