Error message

Received error message on my 6700 when transmitting and with Maestro also running. The 6700 shut down with red light blinking and with this message: PSL1V5 1.38. Anyone know what this indicates?

This has nothing to do with the external power supply. This indicates that the internal 1.5v voltage regulator could not supply sufficient voltage. If this happens more than once or twice, the radio will need to be serviced to repair it

Sounds like the 1.5 volt supply in the radio dropped down to 1.38 volts. Double check the voltage of your power supply and check the connections, especially the power pole contacts.

Use a program such as FRStack to check your radio voltage while transmitting a 100 watt carrier to see if you have a significant voltage drop.
